Welcome to the website of the Somerville Rotary Club. The Somerville Rotary Club is an organization
of local business men and women focused on serving the needs of the Somerville community.
Somerville Rotary has a long tradition of supporting many community organizations and initiatives that provide
services to the youth, the homeless, and improvement of our community. This year, we continue to be committed to
helping local food pantries, providing scholarships to graduating high school seniors who reside in Somerville,
supporting literacy in our schools and joining forces with several not-for-profit organizations, such as the
Somerville Homeless Coalition, Walnut Street Center, and the Giving Camp. Our partnerships provide a variety of support
services to individuals and families, and also youth related programs, including the Science Fair held annually at Somerville High School.
Following in the Rotary motto, Service Above Self, each member of the Somerville Rotary Club in our own way gives a
little of ourselves one project at a time. Our accomplishments are noteworthy, but there is still so much to be done.
Three Tuesday’s each month, September through June, the Rotary Club of Somerville meets at the Mount Vernon Restaurant,
Broadway, Somerville at 12:15 p.m. Please check the schedule on this website and please join us! Our meetings include great
food and fellowship, provide a forum to discuss service to our community and how the Club can assist in meeting the many service
needs of our community.
It is with great pride and appreciation that I serve as the President of the Somerville Rotary Club for the 2009-2010 service year.
Yours in Rotary,
Tony Pierantozzi

Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
